<>: Omake! Omake! OMAKE! Yay!! <> <> <> Beans (picking up a beanbag and clonking Haruka with it): Now, for the big finish! ----- "Ouch!" Artemis quickly pulled his paw back. "Sorry. I forgot my claws were out. Are you okay?" Haruka examined the three or four small scrapes on the back of her hand. They weren't deep and the bleeding wasn't even worth worrying about. "I'm fine, Artemis. Don't worry about it." ----- College Life Omake Theatre 3: When the Fur Flies by Jamie David Jeans a.k.a. JOLT!!! and by Nightbreak ----- "Michiru?" came the voice from the other side of the bed. The teal-haired girl opened her eyes slowly, wincing at the early-morning sunlight. "Yes, Haruka?" "I *really* hope I'm dreaming," commented her partner. Michiru turned her head to glance over her shoulder. Then her eyes widened and she sat bolt upright. "What. . .?" Haruka shrugged and reached up to scratch her blond hair, which had grown much longer and wilder overnight. At the same time, she ran a hand over the pair of sandy-coloured cat ears that were poking up out of her head. "Got me." The rest of her body was also covered in the soft, tan fur, with white patches on her arms and chest, looking like a furry bodysuit. Her face was relatively clear, except for more patches on her jaw and neck. Tentatively, Michiru reached out a hand to stroke her shoulder. "Is it. . . on?" Haruka gripped a handful of arm fur and yanked hard. "MEEOOOUUCHH! Yep." Then she paused. "*What* did I just say?" Michiru stifled a chuckle. "Oddly enough, it seems to suit you." Her partner cast her a withering glance. "Funny. Now excuse me while I figure out how I'm supposed to shower with all this on." She rolled out of bed and headed for the bathroom. Behind her, a long cat's tail did its best to trip her up. "Just don't clog the drain with hairballs." Haruka's ears twitched in minor annoyance. ***** By the time breakfast was finished, Michiru had finally pulled out her Deep Aqua Mirror. "It's the scratches on your hand," she said, watching as the image of Haruka and Artemis formed. "You must have caught Cat Scratch Fever from him." "Wonderful," Haruka grumbled, "And how long is this going to last?" She rubbed a furry shoulder absently. "It doesn't say." Michiru put the Mirror away. "It's a good thing that this weekend is extended for us. I can't see you going back into school like that." Reaching out with a hand, she lightly scratched Haruka behind her cat ears. "Besides, this could be fun." Haruka looked briefly irritated again, then sighed softly and put her head down on the table as Michiru continued to scratch. "At least Beans isn't here to see this. She'd never let me forget it." Just then, the phone rang. Haruka reached over to pick it up, then her ears perked as she heard the voice on the other end. Covering the mouthpiece, she grinned wickedly. "Then again. . ." ***** Beans frowned as she hurried up the front steps of Haruka and Michiru's house. She could still hear Michiru's laughter over the phone when Haruka had invited her to come by. Idly, she wondered what trouble she was getting herself into now. She quickly rang the doorbell a couple of times, with a feeling of uneasiness growing a bit more when Michiru came out and closed the door, not even allowing her a look inside. "Morning, Michiru... is there something wrong?" Beans asked. The senshi of Neptune shook her head, and almost looked to be fighting a smile from creasing her face. Despite the answer to her question, Beans felt her anxiety jump up a few notches. "I have some errands to run this morning, Beans, and I would greatly appreciate it if you could keep Haruka company until I return," Michiru said. "Company? But why?" She gave her friend a frustrated look. "Come on, Michiru, you can tell me if anything is wrong." "I believe this is one of those cases in which seeing is better then me telling you. Now please, Haruka is waiting for you." At Michiru's gentle push, Beans entered the small house and took her shoes off, then cast one last glance at Michiru, who was now driving off in the car, before closing the door. "Nothing wrong? It certainly doesn't seem that way... and why was Michiru in such a rush," Beans wondered, taking her coat off and hanging it up. "Meow..." "'Meow?' Since when did Michiru and Haruka have a ca-" Beans line of thought was cut off abruptly as she turned to face the feline and saw Haruka standing before her, grooming her arm fur with her tongue. "Haru- Ha- Haruka?" Beans was barely able to get out, mind reeling from the sight before her. "Meow? Yup... that's me. Damn," she cursed as she caught herself and stopped grooming her arm fur. "This is getting annoying. I'm feeling all of these new habits forming and they're hardly anything that I like." "But... but how?" Haruka looked at the shocked look on Beans' face and meowed once more, dropping to all fours and narrowing her eyes. "Hey, come on, Haruka. Quit that. You make it seem like I'm a mouse or something," Beans laughed nervously, and hoped that Michiru would get back soon from where ever she had gone to. But Haruka did not quit and inched forward towards Beans instead, meowing again and flexing her entire body. As soon as Beans saw the tail stop wiggling, she jumped aside and dodged the furry Senshi. "Bad kitty! Bad kitty!" Beans shouted, grabbing a newspaper from the living room and rolling it up. "I can't believe I said that," she thought as she waved the rolled up newspaper at Haruka. Haruka meowed again as she followed Beans further into the living room. She flexed her paws and her tail stopped moving. "Oh man... now I know why Haruka invited me over... ACK!!!" "ROWL!!!" ***** Michiru pulled up into the driveway, the bag of herbs sitting in the seat beside her, and quickly turned the car off. She knew that even in her new state, Haruka would not hurt Beans, but that wouldn't mean that she wouldn't play around with her either. Walking in through the front door, she removed her shoes and called out. "Beans! I'm home!" "In here!" Her voice echoed out from the bedroom. Beans sounded extremely nervous and Michiru hurried in, feeling a shiver of fear run up her spine. Perhaps Haruka wasn't fully in control of herself as Michiru had first thought. Upon reaching the doorway, she couldn't help the smile that slowly spread across her face or the slight giggles that escaped her lips. "I highly doubt how you could find any humor in this!" Beans silently hissed. Michiru tried to say something to that but couldn't stop the giggles. Sitting up on the bed, her legs stretched out to keep them from cramping, Beans was the new comfort feature for furry Haruka, the Senshi stretched out over her while cuddling close to her. She was sleeping, purring gently, and her claws were sunk into Beans clothes, most of which had been used for a scratching post. Haruka was not going anywhere soon if she could help it. "Oh, a camera to capture a picture for the ages," Michiru said, laughing lightly at how red Beans face became. "Hah hah... see if I help out next time Haruka goes kitty cat on you," Beans replied. Haruka meowed and woke up, tails swishing happily as she turned to see Michiru in the doorway. "Come here, Haruka," Michiru said, and Haruka did so, standing up and nuzzling her face into Michiru's. She giggled at how her partner's fur tickled her face but commanded Haruka to sit down. Meowing, Haruka did so and began grooming her arm fur. "How the heck did you do that?! She was chasing me all around the house almost all the time you were gone and didn't listen to me at all!" Beans nearly shouted, getting off the bed and examining her shredded clothing. "Haruka knows which one of us is in charge, no matter what state her body is in," Michiru explained, smiling as she gave Haruka a tender ear scratch. "Now, let us fix up this remedy for Haruka and get you some new clothes..." "Joy... I just hope Haruka doesn't keep reminding me of this or else I'll get her a catnip mouse for Christmas," Beans muttered.
