"I think we need a change of pace. I hear the United States is nice this time of year," you suggest.

"The United States?" She thinks about it. "That could be fun," she allows slowly.

"Sure it could," you encourage. "It's a big country. We could spend a while touring it. If we get bored, we'll hope the border to Canada or Mexico, whichever is closer."
